An urban infill development of a vacant site adjacent to a busy roadway.

Derby Slabtown is a 128-unit multifamily housing development located in Portland, OR directly adjacent to the Pearl District at the edge of the popular Slabtown neighborhood. The project delivers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments within a 6-story structure, serving an urban workforce. It’s location adjacent to the I-405 roadway required acoustic treatment of the façade and windows. Entitlement was achieved through Portland’s Type III design review. Derby was originally capitalized through Texas Capital Bank, Ascentris Real Estate Private Equity, and Kōz Development. The project has been refinanced through PNC Bank.

Derby Slabtown is managed by Kōz Properties.
