Our Story

Kōz Development was founded in 2014 to address a growing imbalance in housing where those who make our cities work could no longer afford to live in them. Our mission remains simple: create high-quality, efficient housing close to work, school, and transit so people can live where life happens.

Our communities provide a modern alternative to long commutes and aging apartments. They are compact, well-designed homes that make living in desirable locations attainable again. Inspired by a renewed focus on living simply, Kōz designs each building to be livable, durable, and financially sustainable.

The name ”Kōz” reflects our belief that good design creates comfort - not through excess space or luxury, but through thoughtful details that make everyday living easy, connected, and complete.
