Kōz on Killingsworth

Kōz on Killingsworth is an 88-unit mixed-use, multifamily housing project located in the historic Humboldt neighborhood in north Portland, Or. The project consists of studio, one- and two- bedroom apartments as well as several live/work suites at ground level with immediate street access. Context was important for the entitlement of the project, requiring extensive masonry and careful consideration of proportions to achieve approval. Kōz on Killingsworth was originally capitalized through Washington Federal Bank, Hagshama, AMC Investments, and retail investors syndicated through Kōz Development It was recapitalized as part of a broader portfolio transaction, providing investor distributions and retiring the construction loan. Kōz Development continues to own a minority stake in the project.
