A development utilizing creative local and state incentives.

Kōz on West 5th is a 210-unit multifamily housing development located at the base of the South hill in a major medical and professional hub in Spokane, WA. When complete, the project will deliver studio, one-, and two-bedroom affordable apartments targeting the workforce and the multiple higher-education institutions close to the development. Utilizing the new Pavement to People incentive offered through the City of Spokane and the Washington State Dept. of Revenue, the construction of Koz on West 5th is exempt from state sales tax, providing a mechanism to deliver a project targeting rents at a level accessible to those making 60%-80% of the average median income of the area. Kōz on West 5th was capitalized through Greystone, Catalyst, and retail investors syndicated by Kōz Development.

Kōz on West 5th will be managed by Kōz Properties.
