Kōz on Yamhill

Kōz on Yamhill is a 30-unit micro housing development located in the historic Goose Hollow neighborhood in Portland, OR. The project consists of studio apartments, a majority of which utilize mezzanine lofts for sleeping areas expanding the livability of the homes beyond their small footprints. Challenges faced in entitlement and development included Historic District design review and difficult construction on the 5000 sf site with clear access from one side only. Kōz on Yamhill was capitalized through Pioneer Trust Bank and retail investors syndicated by Kōz Development. Kōz on Yamhill was sold upon completion.
