Kōz on Alderwood

Kōz on Alderwood is a 199-unit multifamily housing project located less than ¼ mile from the Lynnwood City Center station of the Link light rail in Lynnwood, WA. The project delivers studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments and 100 parking spaces. Subject to Lynnwood City Center Design Guidelines, the project faced an obstacle during design and permitting of a re-alignment of the future Link expansion causing the loss of property. Even with that obstacle, it was delivered under budget and right on schedule. Kōz on Alderwood was capitalized through Coastal Community Bank, MSquared, and retail investors syndicated by Kōz Development utilizing its Qualified Opportunity Zone location to provide tax benefits to some investors.
